'Let's Call Me RedDuck'

Raffy’s journey of creating a home within his isolated hospital room was the basis of our children’s storybook, Let’s Call Me RedDuck. Illustrated with images from real experiences, this is a story of imagination, acceptance and above all else, love and friendship. This inclusive book was written and illustrated by Raffy’s mummy and celebrates children that have to call hospital home, those who endure medical intervention and those who experience an alternative reality of childhood.

Let’s Call Me RedDuck follows Raffy, his oncology friends Nellie and Dilly and celebrates Nurses Michael and Laura who cared for him during his time on the Bone Marrow Transplant Ward, and who became a three year old boys best friends.
